Another thing about roofing is the big “M”…..Maintenance…..this is
one of those things that gets a bum rap. You see, most roofs don’t get the
attention they need or deserve. Maintenance helps keep the main thing the main
thing….keeping water out of your space! The big “M” is misunderstood and just
plain misrepresented. There have been all sorts of so called “roofers” willing
to get up on a roof and slap a heaping mound of black, gooey stuff all over and
call that maintenance. Well the real thing about Maintenance is it involves a
whole lot more experience and professionalism than what I just described. A
couple of things we would want to look at would be the age of the roof; the
type of roof system; what condition is the roof over-all; is there a warranty
or guarantee in place; how long do we expect the roof to last; what type of
facility or business; are their budgets to consider; is there or has there ever
been a maintenance plan in effect? Lots of things to consider not the least of
which is what kind of repair and/or maintenance will keep the water out? After
working on thousands of roofs we are getting good at taking care of you and
your roof.
